Even though it's well documented that I'm not a retro fan, and a lot of people here don't see the point of it/hate it, I have always liked the SSR and I think they will sell as many as they can build over the next few years. I expect more power and other improvements as well to keep things going.

However, I suspect that because these will be made in such small quanities, the price will do what the 96 Impala SS did: freeze at that price level or increase.
Production will max out at about 12,000 units. Expect a 10k premium when these first come out. Dealers will be lucky to get one unit for '03.
The marketing strategy is flawed on this vehicle.
Fire up the customers on this product for a few years, then make the truck almost unavailable. GM could really use an affordable vehicle that is as good of a seller as the Pt Cruiser.
