Don't know the price yet.
Don't have a Targeted Production Week (TPW) yet. Production is scheduled to start on October 6th, 2003.

Had salesman put a stipulation in contract that says I can bail on vehicle if I don't like the vehicle itself, the price is too high, or I lose my job between now & the time the truck comes in.

You can see pics of the exact vehicle here:

Well, that all depends on what your definition of "fast" is.
Is it F-body fast....no.

It will probably outrun the competition (except the V-8 Dakota).

The 2wd regular cab weighs 3300 lbs has 220 hp and 225 lb/ft of torque. I ordered mine with a 3.73 rear end. I do not know what the tranny ratios are.
There is a formula to figure out 1/4 mile times using weight and horsepower figures. Anyone here have that?

And it will FEEL like a rocket compared to my anemic 118 hp 4 cyl Sonoma.

Congratulations! I've always thought ZQ8's were very cool...and I think this one will be the best one yet.

I'm betting yours will be good for 15.00's flat.

I was really hoping for the Colorado to blow me away and it really didn't come close to my expectations, however I do like the looks of the ZQ8 package.

I hope eventually they drop the turbo I5 in it and make a Colorado SS out of the ZQ8. They have to use that turbo I5 for something, right? I wouldnt mind seeing a 300hp Colorado SS on the Chevy lot right next to a (hopefully eventually) 450+ hp Silverado SS regular cab.

That would be awesome. Won't happen, but it would be awesome!

Very nice truck! I really liked the ZQ8 S10s. The Colorado ZQ8 looks pretty good. Very aggressive.

So... You must have at least some kind of an idea about the price...

Looks okay, I guess...

Actually I have no idea what the price is going to be.
On the printout they gave me after they ordered it, it just says "W/A" under the invoice and MSRP columns.

But if a fully loaded regular cab S-10 ZQ8 goes for around 20-21K, the Colorado will probably be just slightly higher than that.
