And, according to my source, you can place your orders for the Colorado and Canyon at the dealerships at this time.

My dad requested info on the Colorado. It looks awesome but how much will it sticker? I know that its the S-10 replacement and the S-10 is overpriced as are most GM cars. With all the advancements in the Colorado, I hope it has a decent price for being Chevy's new entry level truck. If so, I'll look into one in a couple of years.

I hear this a lot, but how true is it? GM is now pricing their incentives into the list prices (a foolish strategy IMO) so I think the actual transaction prices are pretty much in line with everyone else.

You're looking at the Z71 off-road model.
Go to this site:

and take a look at the ZQ8 sport model (in yellow).

Sweet looking truck.

According to Chevrolet:

"Pricing has not yet been determined. Most of the volume will be under $25,000 MSRP with about half transacting around $20,000. Average prices are a function of consumer demand for crew and extended cabs, larger engines, and more optional features."

It's miles ahead of the S-10, I'll give you that. I'm just not a fan of the squinty-eyed look, and the creases above the wheel wells look very Toyota-ish to me.

I think that the ZQ8 is cool, but this view looks like it was designed by an eleven year old in study hall.

Sorry guys.
HuJass, your going to have yourself one neat truck, and Darth , we can't agree on everything.......but IMO GM could tidy up the Colorado's front end.
