Are the 6 speed automatic Vettes on dealer lots yet? I havn't seen any performance #'s but hwy gas milage is up

6 speed auto = 17/27
6 speed manual = 18/28
'05 4 speed auto = 18/26

 

No I haven't, but that's interesting that the city mileage takes a dip. I know the highway mileage would go up...

 

Yep , I have seen 2 6 speed auto's on local lots .

 

That is why I can't wait to see the 0-60 and 1/4mi., more low end gears.

 

yea we've sold 2 or 3 already, but a friend said they drive super crisp... and acceloration...

 

the C6's are cool but will i be able to buy one from GM Parts Direct for my car? i def want to get the 6 sp auto and out the aftermarket paddle shifters on it.

 

I think it was Hot Rod magazine that just did a big write up on the new trans and its obvious shift to the aftermarket .

 

I drove VIN number 3 at Carlisle. White 'vert with 6 speed auto and paddles...
I'm a manual sort or guy, but I can see a market for it where, perhaps, the wife refuses to drive a stick car... Acceleration is much better with 6 gears over the previous auto.
