H3 vs competitors in Motor Trend comparo
Re: H3 vs competitors in Motor Trend comparo
The GMT-355 platform has been crying out for a V8 since its introduction. The development of the 5-cylinder was a complete waste....
Find a way to offer the 5.3 (or even the 4.8) in the H3 and the Colorado/Canyon and then we might have something....

Re: H3 vs competitors in Motor Trend comparo
I liked when they asked all of the test drivers which one they would want to take the drive themselves and they all said the H3. But give it last place though. I agree that the I-5 basically sucks in anything but a reg cab 4X2 colorado.
Re: H3 vs competitors in Motor Trend comparo
Yep, the only fault of teh H3 is the weaksauce motor, which causes people to be on the gas more to move the truck, which evens out the gas milage.
A 4.8 making 290hp would be MORE then enough.

Re: H3 vs competitors in Motor Trend comparo
Does anyone in the know have an idea of when the 3.7L 5 cyl. will be out? Will that make it into the 2007's? I hope the V8 is a 2007.5 because the H3 needs it yeasterday. Colorado could use one too, just to get a edge on Toyota and catch up with the new Sport Trac.
