I have loved this concept from the start, I like what you did IZ28 but I think if your outer HID's headlights were bigger and maybe try the ZL1 Camaro hood scoop on the car. But I like how you set up the grill I love the Camaro badge in the middle of the grill. If the info being told is true and this is pretty close to what the actual car looks like I will be at the dealership in 07 getting a Camaro.

Oops, sorry, I didn't mean to infer you stated otherwise. The point I was striving for was this; if it was that close, it was by accident(?)... I was downplaying my own assessment of accuracy, not meaning to say that you said it was indeed that close.

In any event I think we are on the same page with regards to the intent of the messages.

Ahhh, the "masses"(at least those on this board - if not the general public) have too much passion for this car to keep the discussion on track. I don't see this is as a bad thing... everybody wants to be heard. Not everybody necessarily wants to listen all the time though. This can make it hard to absorb all of the truly relevant information being passed around.

But the passion is good. Camaro is after all, about the passion. Blowing that Mustang in the next lane into the weeds is just a bonus...

I'm 100% with you on that one!

It simply and strongly says performance without having to resort to screaming it at the top of it's lungs or a "Hey, everybody! You must look at me NOW!" insecurity.

Great looking drawing. I suspect the next "Chevrolet Sports Coupe" will look as good.

Many thanks Guoin... my little ole drawing seems to have it's share of fans... I think that's pretty cool.

I think you summed it up completely!

Here we are trying to get a accurate picture of the next "Chevy sports coupe", and instead you get a mongrel mix of opinion on what to change, what to do next to the drawing, and so forth.

If we left it up to the "masses" we'd have some monstrosity that that would turn off half of us, and would look absolutely nothing like the actual car, and this whole thing (both here and at Cheers&Gears) would have been a complete failure.

Thanks to these artists for keeping focused on the project 1st and foremost without letting themselves be sidetracked and tugged every which way.

IZ28 think that between you and "crispy" over at C&G, you guys have nailed what is the actual car as close as it can be at this stage of the game, without actually having photos or blueprints.

Quite a few people with knowledge of the car have chimed in both on and off record, and I feel it's pretty noteworthy that fbodfather hasn't commented on this (actually he can't, but trust me, if we were way off, he most definately would have said something here ).

The common theme of anyone who'll say something about it is that the cars are very very close. The front (both IZ28 & Crispeys) is a dead ringer, and the wheel swishes are very close, the greenhouse (the one I liked above) is the actual shape of the side windows. What also comes up is that the drawings have the elements, but the car actually looks substantially better... and is NOT retro (everyone made that clear).

Just wanted to relay that.

Really Guion? Cool. I just redid stuff to make it look more like the way I'd like to see it if this design was basically what's gonna be made. I like cars that other people than yourself will want to look and stare at and compliment. It's a nice thing.
