We are about 3 years away from a new GM RWD platform and seem to know more about a new Camaro than we do about a future Dodge Charger and the DC RWD platform is less than a year away?

Has anybody heard anything new lately about a new Dodge Muscle Car?

 

wasnt that the 2 seater concept with the turbo 5 or something along those lines?

 

Nope. I think you're thinking about the Chevy Bel Air concept car from this past year.

Ask the bigwigs in Germany about it - they're probably the only ones that know for sure (the folks on this side of the Atlantic don't seem to have a definite answer). It originally got killed because of the rear doors - the humorless guys in Stuttgart though that yet another four-door in the LX line would be redundant, and so the feature that seemed to give it a fighting chase was indeed what brought it down. Maybe opinions are different now - I don't know.

I'm really hoping this car comes out, as my wife's totally in love with the concept car, and for her to like the styling of anything post-1960 is pretty unusual. However, given the high nose profile of the Magnum SRT-8 and the 300C, one might guess that there's some suspension componentry that's preventing a low hoodline, and I'd think that'd result in a total restyle. Hopefully, that's not the case.
