OK, I gotta know! When will we see these things? This is what I want for my next vehicle (Next to my new Camaro of coarse ) and I cannot seem to find anything at all on them. I did find a couple of spy shots over on GM-Trucks.com but it still doesn't quite fill the gap.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the trucks are supposed to be styled a little different than the SUV's right? because thats what everyone has been saying but then the Av came out and it basically has the same interior and nose as the Tahoe.

If anyone can shed some light on this for me it would be much appreciated!

 

If I remember right, the last I heard was that they should be at dealerships in the 4th Quarter of this year...

The styling is different than the SUV's...

As for Avalanche, remember that the Av is more Tahoe than it is Silverado... so, short of having a unique front clip again, it makes sense that it wears the Tahoe front end... (even though the non-cladded 06 Avalanche had the Silverado front end)

 

When will these trucks be unveiled? At the New York Auto Show? or will GM wait and release photos just before they go into production in the 4th quarter?

 

I believe there is an auto show in Texas in September---that's where they will be shown.

Anyone know if their will be a Silverado SS? If so I might have to trade in my truck.

 

About the only thing I can tell you is, the interior looks very much like the Tahoe.

The ones running around up here were completely bagged, so there was no way to tell anything body wise. However, the windows were open.

 

You want to trade in your truck for a brand new SS which'll probably run you close to 40 grand and you just got done asking the lounge about options for paying for school? If you wanna go to school you don't need to be buy a 40k dollar truck. Get through school and then at the end reward yourself with a new one.
