Gotcha. I got thrown off by the 'better than rebates' comment.

Here's some info for everyone else about car pricing. The more you guys know, the less they'll dick me around when I tell them I refuse to pay X amount (I dont know how many cars I would have bought if it wasn't for dealers not taking me serious )

And if you're weak minded or easily persuaded, you better bring your big brother or daddy with you. If you guys are interested in a Ford (Mustang?), let me know...one of the sales managers where I live is hardcore down to Earth and respectable, and works for a large dealership.

GTO is still 5.9% and no cash allowences.
I spoke with my dealer today... the rebate now on the 04 GTO's is $5k!!! This is really starting to torture me now! Must... have... new 350hp Goat....
