GM's future platforms...according to Edmunds.
Re: GM's future platforms...according to Edmunds.
The automaker also is expanding the number of crossover vehicles it will build on variations of two all-wheel-drive platforms: the midsize Theta and the new full-size Lambda.
GM's rear-wheel-drive platforms generally are being reserved for lower-volume, specialty models.

I think it should read "GM's RWD platforms will include some low volume specialty models".
The info in that article seems to be extremely generalized, and the guesswork is atrocious.

Edmunds is just like any print magazine. Over-hyped and never really delivers anything worthwhile.
This article is nothing more than pure speculation with a few "tid bits" built in. Chi is so far out, it's ridiculous and as Guy pointed out, the models are no where near set in stone, nor the basis of the chassis.
I love the "bigger guys" because of what they are paid to say. It's so bad, AutoWeek already knows what they are to run with in 4 months about certain vehicle it's insane. Todays media is a joke.
