anyway, how come there is no code for the future GTO? they have the present GTO down, but not the future one?
GTO is being designed by GM-Holden of Australia.

Notice there is no code for the Commodore line either.

It is being designed by Holden? Ahh... not so glad to hear that. I like the present GTO as anyone can tell you. I would hope that they still make the GTO in Oz as if they can keep the quality, they should have another solid car.

Well I just registered gmx284.com

If anybody thinks there could be some use in a dedicated 5th gen message board let me know and I can set something up at little to no cost if somebody else would help mod it.

5thgencamaro.com is taken already, LOL.

Im spending most of my time over at cheersandgears.com as the concepts moderator.
Havn't been here in a long while.

Im glad you guys like the list of codes, it took a LONG time to compile. It used to reside online at my old personal site untill that venture was closed down in December. The list was just updated and re-hosted (the link in this thread).

BTW, 5thgencamaro.com has been registered to me since 2001
It recently was shut down (unfortunately), and may come up for purchase.

hmmm....I wonder what GMX283 is then You have GMX280 that was gonna be a Camaro, GMX281 as the current GTO, GMX282 as the future GTO, and GMX284 as the future Chevy Coupe. See a trend here?

Talking

uluz28, the connection is that the new GTO, Monaro and "Chevy coupe" will be spun from the same architecture (the so-called VE-Lite). Maybe 283 will be a Buick (as previewed by the Velite [wordplay] concept this year).
