Depending on the dealer, maybe he will still try to match the employee sale price. Doesn't hurt to ask. Put preasure on them. "Geee... I want a GTO but if I can't get it at the employee discount anymore maybe I'll go back and check out that Mustang GT again."

I will try that, maybe somebody is willing to deal. But if they sell it at that price, aren't they losing money. I thought the dealers got something like $1500 per car sold under the promotion?
