Just about everybody in the entire USA bitched about no hood scoops on the GTO , so the fact their on the G8 is not surprising at all . You wanted em America 
It looks just like the motor trend car . If the dual kidney grill has to be there , at least that looks very tasteful . This car is gonna be oh so sexy , and those wheels are complete sex
If ya squint your eyes though , it looks dead on like a bimmer from that sneak peak .

It's a little more than JUST the Pontiac arrow head in place of the Holden badge, but hey, it doesn't look like they grossely Pontiac-ified it!! 
... and can someone refresh my memory ... it is going to have both an A6 and M6 available, correct??
I think that'll be a helluva a car (albeit, 4-doors) in the interim until the full line of NA Zetas (including Camaro ) arrive!!
