The only problem with that, at least in my mind, is going back to the 90s and B-body, when the Caprice was the mass market granny ride while the Impala was the pavement scorching Q-ship for the enthusiasts. So it would seem counter-intuitive to reverse that hierarchy now.

The idea of the Caprice is a mass market full bodied car that RWD and V8..and the people that buy there cars..the Taxi, police and service industry along with the general public..along with the demise of the Ford Crown Vic..it fits.
