Is the back up cam from the Calais part of that Nav screen? I like the interior, but the brown just doesnt seem to fit. It doesnt look right in the steering wheel. Maybe it is too much two tone. I love the gauges and center stack!

I love the interior. Yes the brown isn't the best choice but think of the possabilities, say dark red or light grey or tan. The style and materials are soo much better than the all hard plastic dark grey or black interiors we have had for so long. Give me some color and variety! I'm glad they didn't cheapen the interior from Holden.

FWIW I think the car is waaaaay overdone. Why does a modern Pontiac muscle car need those horrid scoops?
I guess I'm the odd one out judging from the reaction from many here. That's not such a bad thing as you can't please everyone. Not even the diehard GM fans, I'm afraid.

Personally, I don't mind them.

Yes, the car would probably look just as hot without them (and shake some of those crazy Aztek References in the process to boot).
In any event, I'll take the scoops on the G8 over that wing on the SS/V Commodores any day.

Yes, we get NAV!!!!!!
Yes, we get NAV!!!!!!
Well, maybe we do. That GM publicity pic does indeed have a "Nav" button visible. But the pics from the actual Chicago show car do not have that button - rather the Chicago car has a power on/off button where the Nav button used to be. And while the press releases mention "color display" on the optional radio, they don't say navigation.
I hope we get it - Holden lists it as an option, so it is out there should they choose to import cars here with it.
But I fear they may try to pawn off the "Onstar Turn-by-turn navigation" on us. Which is WAY less useful and requires a subscription.
Anyone have any more info yea or nay on this?
