Will Buick be able to turn thier image around and attract youth before thier elderly customer base dries up?

Look what the CTS and escalade did for Cadillac, it's definately possible...
probable though ???

If I were running Buick, I'd shoot for positioning it somewhere between Lincoln and Saab.

Astra is a good amount smaller than those other two. Regal is also on the Shorter/(regular) wheel base Epsilon II, LaCrosse is on the large.

Regal is 7" shorter than the LaCrosse and could be sold with a 4cyl. There is a lot of overlap with the Malibu and Regal as far as size goes though.

Holy Crap! I went from 31 to 50 in a heartbeat. I have a 1998 Regal GS. Really like it too.

Buick is a best selling nameplate in Asia... It won't be going anywhere.

Yep.

The Regal is replacing the G6 in dealerships, and I think this increases the likelihood Buick will get a coupe sooner than later... (we've been waiting, what? Ten years already???).

Astra's through.

The idea behind it (any potential loss due to exchange rates is less than spending money on doing the car here) didn't take into account that even the Ford focus would offer more for less without much loss in percieved quality.

Anything else that comes for Opel in the near future will be able to be sold at a high enough price to make it feasible.

In the US, Buick and GMC are doomed in my opinion.

Just a matter of time.
