Re: full cobra pics
Also with it being a Shelby (and me not knowing a great deal about the history of past Shelby Mustangs) - does this mean production will run for a limted few years just say 2 or 3 years or something to increase collectibilty/desirabilty? To be honest I could care less about the Shelby name... but the name prolly pushes the price up a bit and makes it more collectible in some folks eyes? I sure hope we don't see a situation akin to what happened to the last Cobra Rs where a lot of cars were reportedly snapped up for well above MSRP by folk with lots of spare 'pocket change' and then consigned to garage queen status?

Re: full cobra pics
That is the FIRST Mustang in over 35 years that I would consider buying on looks alone. Tha tfact that it will also be sporting over 400 Hp makes it a winner in my book. It's just such a shame that GM has nothing comparable to go against it
GTOs are OK, but I'd rather have this Shelby than the GTO in it's current form. And the C6 Vette/Z06 are in a different class altogether.

Well, I just hope that GM is paying SOME KIND of attention to this and how they have ABSOLUTELY NO car to directly compete with it! The GTO is not a competitor to the Mustang, the Camaro USED to be. OH well. If its still around in a few years when I start making some money, I might have to look at it. Thats IF there is no Camaro by then

I have to admit, begrudgingly, that looks pretty awesome.
At least Ford is willing to bring us this kind of car TODAY instead of making promises over and over again.
Chrysler can bring us a car like the 300 TODAY, not 4 years from now...
GM needs to stop trying to follow the leader and start trying to BE the leader. Try to think of the next big thing rather than always trying to match what the current big thing is. By the time they get the product to market the market's already moved on anyway.
