Four door Charger for next year is confirmed.
Im not gonna bash it since I have not seen it but 4 doors does not make a charger, it was a coupe... people keep bashing the gto cause it lookes like a grand am ( even though it the originial gto looked just like all the other pontiacs of its day), but they will praise just the fact the name charger is gonna be stuck on a 4 door car....
If its as fast as a base corvette, 4 doors, and not super expensive thats awesome and nice to see another fast american (german) car. But it is NOT a charger.. If they made a new camaro with suicide doors i would not buy it, thats not a camaro so why can a charger get away with it?

Did every one stop buying Camaro's when they arbitrarily went from a real trunk to a "hatch"
Did that make it "NOT A CAMARO??"
So, having easier access to the back seats, while still looking JUST LIKE A COUPE, is going to make people NOT buy one..
(Talk about Choking on a gnat, and swallowing a camel...)

I would not buy a 4-door Camaro...would you?

No...but when a manufacturer brings back an icon name, a sports car name to be exact, people do not want to hear that it will be a four door. Impala does not scream sports car to me, it says Lowrider.

I do like it when people see a 4dr car and sell it off as slow, then they get their @ss handed to them.
nope, I wouldn't buy a 4 door Camaro. In fact, I doubt I'd buy a Camaro at all to drive. (I did buy one, but just for the drivetrain.) All the previous versions had virtually no back seat room, so if I were getting a coupe, I'd get a 2 seater (Corvette)
If I wanted a 4 door, I'd get a relatively low mile (50k miles) impala SS or maybe a Fleetwood. Or if I were going to get a new 4 door, I'd get something like a 4 door truck, Magnum, CTS-V, STS, Benz, BMW, or who knows

Hot off The Car Connection presses:
"Another Product for Chrysler; Yet Unnamed
Chrysler CEO Dieter Zetsche said the company will surprise the market with a tenth vehicle this year, though he was coy about what it is. The company has said nine new products would come out in calendar 2004. Now, says the boss, one more. It will probably be unveiled at the New York Auto Show in April. One possibility, say sources, is a Dodge sedan off the same platform as the Chrysler 300C and Dodge Magnum crossover. Such a vehicle has always been planned, but held back from media and dealer previews. -Jim Burt"
We may be getting a look at the Charger in afew weeks.

Someone mentioned that DC can very well make a 4 door look good especially is GM could accomplish that feat with the SS. I can't find the picture right now but there is a concenpt from Mercedes which is a 4-door that looks like a coupe ala SS and it looks dare I say it.... pretty sleek.
If the Charger would be almost similar the concept's design theme could very well be used and it would look amazing.
If I find the picture i'll post it.. arrrggh I just can't remember where I saw it. (If anyone knows what I am talking about i'll describe it. It was a Silver Sedan and the picture was taken froma side view. I believe there were trees in the background)
EDIT:
