See, that's the same reason why I couldn't drive an Escape. If they made a modern S10 Blazer, that's what I'd be driving. I test drove an escape and decided it didn't feel like an <'94 or >'95 S10, but rather a small-car based SUV--exactly what it is, unibody and all. It does have the boxy looks, which I like. I think it's a Home Run for Ford, just not for me.

I've decided the only thing that feels like an S10 to me is the Colorado, and that's why i bought it. No, it's not an SUV, but I think I'll make better use out of the short pickup bed anyway.

Back on topic...This is great news for and Ford, and I'm really excited to see their future products.

 

I know what you are saying and I think that is reason it is the best selling SUV/Crossover in the USA. You get that compact SUV/truck look, but with a more non-truck ride that most people prefer.
