Wow. It is a great car, just too small for a 6 foot tall guy like me.
Bloomberg reports that the average transaction price of a Fiesta is between $3,000 and $4,000 beyond the base MSRP, or more money than customers are paying for the larger (and soon-to-depart) Ford Focus. Given the fact that the Fiesta is newer, fresher, and more heavily marketed than the Focus, we're not all that surprised, but perhaps more shocking is the fact that the Fiesta also has a higher average transaction price than the Toyota Corolla and Honda Civic – both of which are class-above vehicles.

Yeah, I sat in one at the NY auto show last April. I fit in the car, it isn't like I couldn't drive it if I needed to. I just feel to claustrophobic in it. A-pillar was too close to me. It is a great car, but I'm much more comfortable in something like a Focus. I was considering the Fiesta 5 door for our second car in a few years, but based on the interior space I think we will go with something like the Focus instead. Possibly even the new Focus ST.

The Fiesta actually is more stylish and actually makes the Civic and Corolla feel spartan by comparison. Materials in the Fiesta are on par with the competition, so both those facts combined make the higher transaction price perfectly expected.
The Fiesta is actually a very good car.
