Re: explain this

Its good news if its accurate. No question that even with SUV sales starting to fall off that GM's fullsize trucks are long in the tooth vs. Ford and Dodge. A fresh truck and associated SUVs would help pump cash into GM. So as long as Zeta isn't dead but just delayed this probably is a smart move.

Smart move because its clear that trucks alone can't sustain the company, and we all here agree they've let their cars go to hell over the last 10 years. Big RWD sedans are hot right now. The only caveat is that if it takes 3-4 years to get one to production, will they be too far on the tail end of the hype to cash in?

GM just moves way too slowly for its own good.

Re: explain this

Im kinda wary about the validity of this considering Lutz said it in plain old english that Zeta is dead.

Re: explain this

Perhaps this should be explained differently. The name "Zeta" is dead to North America. Who is to say that the platform is?
