With all the reports of the swoping C pillar, I really think this is what it will look like. Combin that with the fastback, that has also been confermed from supliers, look of the 99 concept and I think we have a winner.

Any chance that they would replace the Stratus coupe with a RWD coupe - maybe a Challenger?

I don't know if they would use the name Challenger. Every time I hear Challenger I think of a space shuttle exploding. I think Venom would be a better name for a RWD coupe.

The Stratus coupe and Sebring coupe/convertible will be replaced by '06 by Mitsu's Galant platform. Whether it's called Challenger or not (and i'm not saying that it will)....it will be FWD.

Okey-dokey.....

Hottest rumor of the week!

6.1 HEMI will be available this summer.....in trucks.

Get this: 440 horsepower, 448 lbs/ft of torque!

And it won't just be available in trucks....no sir! It will be available in at least one car.

Guess which one.

This summer huh. I say it will be available in the Magnum to give it more appeal.

Nope. It'll be in the Charger first.

Actually the Chrysler "LA" series was first of the family. The LA 318 debuted in 1967 - derived from the 1964 273. The 340 (bored to 4.04 but with same 3.03 inch stroke and with extra goodies - a dual timing chain, windage tray, bigger valves, dual plane intake, big carb, steel crank, hi-po heads, hotter cam) wedge came in 1968 then the 360 came along as more of a "smogger" motor in 1971.

Sounds like the 340 was quite an engine.

500 horsepower. V10 engine. Viper name. 2 seat Sports car.
VS:
440 horsepower. V8 engine. 4 door coupe that is probabaly a few hundred pounds heavier.

Speed alone doesn't define a car or it's market. If that were the case, it would be impossible for both the Corvette and Camaro to exist.

Different cars, different buyers, and different markets.

I was talking about this:

...and in comparison to the SRT-10 TRUCK, not the Viper.
