Also, a car that looks like this: http://forums.autoweek.com/servlet/J...GER%202%20Door
...was supposedly spotted by someone on Allpar, at the Chrysler proving grounds.

What Do We Know Now?
We had a wonderful opportunity that unfortunately do to a miss-understanding is closed to us…for now any way. I thank Thunder and hope he and Suzq come to an understanding.
What we have learned:
2008 HemiCuda
Drive train finalized
A few designs with the final supposed to have been chosen by May 20th
Full scale mock ups exist
This new HemiCuda will be built on the same wheelbase as the Venom concept but 6 inches shorter
Let’s speculate. I am feeling hopeful and thinking about not buying that hot FoMoCo. Ponycar.

I don't get it.. basically looks like the original Charger concept that was shot down by DCx, why would this be any different?
But it looks great, I hope it's lighter since they are many people like me who love the Charger, but are turned off by the 4100lbs curb weight.

umm Im lost..most of those are pics of the old Venom concept..and what is what..I cant get in or see alot of the pics ..and the Razor whats that have to do with a cuda?
Re: Is this a drawing of an '08 'Cuda??
The original Charger concept had the misfortune of coming along right during a management and design staff change. That concept, though popular with us, wasn't with alot of the new Chrysler staff. To make matters worse, the LX RWD program was shelved (it was supposed to be ready no later than 2002).
Chrysler has been working on a RWD coupe almost since forever. I personally know of 2 that looked like a near certainty for production, only to be stalled and/or seemingly cancelled. That's why I stopped talking about them.
I know a little about what's going on, but things have changed so often that I'm in the camp of "When I see it on the trailer, I'll believe it" group.
For the record, the big issue of a Chrysler coupe at the moment seems to be the question of a 2nd LX factory & a smaller LX sedan. If DaimlerChrysler rejects a 2nd assembly location for the LX cars & or a smaller RWD sedan, the "Cuda" simply ain't gonna happen. They also are not going to set up an assembly plant to make only coupes (the coupe market is unpredictable).
The good thing is that if anyone ever decides to give the thing a final green light, the car is capable of being produced as fast as the time it takes to make and bolt down the stamping machines.
Keep an ear out for LX production expansion, that's gonna tell you alot.

What I get out of all this is, that afew people have spotted an actual running 2 door coupe (as opposed to a styling buck) at a Chrysler test facility.
If this coupe is approved, (and some say it was last week), it ill be called Challenger.
It will be a high performance "Mustang competitor".
And judging by the "same wheelbase but 6" shorter than Venom" comment....it may not even be LX based.
Lots of speculation...but great fun.
Oh, some have hinted that if this is all true, to expect some strategic leaks out of DCX by Sept/Oct.

Cant see the first pic so I am lost! The second would be a sweet looking charger coupe. No that much diffrent looking from the sedan but no where near what the CHarger concept looked like. Not even close.
