So it looks like the Razor name is going on some SUV wanna-be vehicle. Boo.

But, with the Solstice and Sky coming out and the Neon ending production in a year, I'm wondering if DC could use a A-class chassis and come up with a 2-seat sports car a la original Razor concept as a home for the 2.4L turbo motor. Keep it around 25K and it will sell...

They stated that the original razor concept with the 2.4 turbo could be sold for 14k. I was in love. I would have bought 2!

 

If they sold the Razor even under 17k, I wouldn't even take a secong glimpse at a Solstice.

 

Nah, the razor was to be barebones without even a stereo. The Solstice is a too much of a better overall vehicle for the 3k diffrence.

You are thinking of that rebadged 94hp smart car. Thats not the razor. The razor had a 250hp turbo engine (the same as the srt4 but they said it was 250hp in this car). The razors HP to weight ratio would have been insane.

 

I didn't know the Neon was ending production in a year, why is it? And what are they proposing to fill the gap? Any pics of this Razor SUV?

Ya...Had a 250hp turbo I4 with a 6speed and rear wheel drive. And If I remember, was on ridiculously big rubber for the size of the car... No stereo, no frills...

Damn, I still want one.

 

That looks like the concept they introduced last year or the year before. Had a kick *** engine in it. Thats not the neon replacement though, just a platform mate.

 

Word has it the 5 door will be out before the 4 door.
