Don't forget the T-bird and Jaguar S type, hrrm....I think that's all.

I will be be in absolute shock if GM cn match the Mustang GT at the very base level option for option and cost the Mustangs loaded $24995 or less . A base loaded 2005 is cheaper than loaded cloth interior non-t-top 2002 Z28 . Sticker price for sticker price .
Refresh my memory on the Z28's sticker price. From what I recall, the '02 Z's base was $23xxx with the major power accessory package being a few ticks over $1000. So, I was under the impression that the pricing was pretty close...

The peg. 2 was about $1600 if I remember right , your right on the base price . I almost bought and had a deposit on a 02 silver hardtop Z28 , cloth seats , but had power everything and sticker was 25,7xx , and they werent dealing a cent of that .

The Camaro has consistently been more expensive and a better overall performing car. I wouldn't expect that to change.

No kidding! My dad picked up a loaded to the teeth silver ttop Z and he ended up paying very little under sticker (sticker was $27xxx) if I recall. Thing is, in April of '02 there weren't too many 6spd Z28s left.
