Location. If you owned a manual 93-96 Camaro you would know what I'm talking about. 97+ setup was much better in the front thanks to the pop out pass side one. 97+ also had ones behind the front seats that were handy. 2009 Solstice coupe setup is much like the 97+ Camaros

I actually don't think the setup would be too bad if it was shaped better to hold the cups upright. It really looks like a storage area they made into cup holders.

Which makes them even more of a bonus on the Solstice. I used to use the ones in my 2000 LS1 all the time for my stuff. I don't know how the LT1 cars were made without them.

The point was you could use the rear car seats in an f body in the front seat. You can do the same here.

You can turn in your man card now.

Seriously, just motorboat the front ones while you reach around and play with the back ones.

(okay, I think I just took this too far)

Amen! I spilled coffee in Mudbone Jr's. '95 on the way to work Thursday morning. He'd just cleaned it up the day before, but I wanted to try it out. I stopped and grabbed some paper towels quick so he wouldn't find out. No one tell him, OK.

i'm sure you ment cup holders not car seats. my point was those cup holders in the 97+ ones are for the rear seat passengers which i don't think a solstice could have....

Any cupholders at all are better than none at all. One of my first cars did not have any cupholders at all. It was a 1991 Mercedes 560SEL.

As a moderator, you absolutely took this too far...

As a member of this board, that was completely appropriate
