Talking CTS-V spy shots...

http://www.thecarconnection.com/index.asp?article=5692

The pics show more details... like the wheels and such, though it says the new grille and other details are not on this test car...

Thumbs up

That is one sweet looking caddy, I dont think I've ever been this impressed with one of their cars. I would love to own this car. This should really help them to establish a new reputation as a world class car division.

I am the same way... I am actually excited about Cadillac

I see CTS-V as a big-time BMW M3 killer...

Only bad thing about the car, and this goes for the standard CTS as well, is the wheels are too tiny in proportion to the rest of the car....as in the whole wheel/tire. Give's it a Geo Metro look to it, especially at the rear fenders. A larger wheel/tire package with larget fender openings would give the car a much more appropriate stance.

Ya, the standard 16" wheels look pretty bad.

I think the 17"ers on the Luxury Sport look half decent, though, IMO...

The CTS-V's wheels are supposed to be 18"ers I believe... they look pretty big in the pic in the link, but I don't know if I like the multi-spoke design as opposed to the 7-spoke design on the Luxury Sport...

I think, if there is one aspect of the CTS that I do not like (and I love this car), it's the area above the rear wheel well and below the C-pillar... it does look a little large, or something, and makes the wheels look smaller or something...

Out of all of GM’s car divisions Cadillac is really doing the best job of changing their image, Pontiac comes in second. They are letting the world know that this isn’t the same Cadillac whose sub par cars we’ve learned to accept. By building the Cien concept the V16, V12 engines and the CTS, and now the CTSv. Also the constant exciting commercials are ingraining this new image into people’s minds, I’m a car guy and even I’m starting to forget their dismal past. I just wish our Fbody would have gotten ¼ of this treatment, when it returns maybe the 5th gen will have it this good.

LOL. Most of my friends say the same thing to me when I mention Cadillac!

Actually, that is on of the images Cadillac need to shatter... the "We cater to geezers" image...

For the record... I'm 30.

I'm not old at all. But this change at GM is good news for us, where do you think the money for the 5th gen is going to come from. You should want every GM car divison to make great cars so they make Tons of money. That way they will have some for what we want.

I'm 23, and I'd take the CTSv over a new GTO. That car is going to be HOT, I hope they put 7 spoke rims on and not the multispoke ones. I guess I could always throw some C5 rims on this bad boy.

Sweet... well, good things are happening at Cadillac, and the CTS-V is a car I'd be happy to own.

Wonder how much it's gonna cost.....
