Could GM seperate it repair business from its new car dealers?

Im wondering since GM is going to brand every car with a small GM badge if GM has something more planned in the future. While I doubt GM will move all nameplates under one single GM badge Iam curious if they might change how their repair/service is handled and push the Goodwrench as the main repair and service center for all GM cars.

While GM can't have factory owned dealers in most locations because of all the service contracts they have with dealers but could GM open up factory owned goodwrench shops instead and try to make more money on repair and service.?

any thoughts?

You're right-I corrected my screw up.

Does anyone know if GM could open factory own repair centers to make more money on the repair/service side of the car biz.
