Colorado/Canyon...how are they doing?
Re: Colorado/Canyon...how are they doing?
Just curious to know if anything learned from LS v8s, about head design and intake design, was put into the 'new' VVT capable 60* v6s found in the Impy and Monte?
I don't know enough about engine internals to know the difference but it would make sense to use a lot of the same design work in V8 and V6s so long as both are OHV.
For example use the same valves, rockers, pushrod lengths, head shape, and if bore and stroke are the same as at least 1 V8 you could reuse a piston and connecting rod design.

after the Kessel Run quote we had to discuss it just like the carbon fiber SUV.In order to bring closure to this specific topic:
Of course, the simplest solution is the one favored by George Lucas, and the one that appeared in the screenplay for A New Hope. Han's boast was nothing more than a lie, meant to hoodwink provincial customers. Obi-Wan's knowing glance suggests he saw right through Solo's meaningless bragging.
