When they said they were going to benchmark VW's interiors, they weren't kidding. Its almost an exact copy of the gof/jetta. Looks good!

There are a few more pics of the car here:

There is a smaller wing on the SS coupe that is much more restrained than the one on the SC SS. I think it would be more livable than the big salami slicer on the upscale car. I can't wait to see the car in person. According to the Chevrolet site the SC version of the SS will be available before the regular SS (?). It must be a misprint.

im suprised but I acctually like it. Looks like a baby gto to me which is a good thing. Get a nicer spoiler on the back and if I wasnt waiting for a new camaro I would think about buying that car Interior looks very nice and clean, exterior is much nicer than a cavalier and looks much better than the srt-4. 220hp would be nice, its got the looks just needs a decent amount of speed !

Thumbs up

Aside from the wing, it's a really nice looking car. Bravo to GM.

I dislike the wing, but the car will attract many more young buyers than will unattract because of it. Go GM

someone on another board said 24k... don't know how accurate that is, but if that's the right price... i'd hope it was a low 14 second ride.

It looks a lot like an Acura RSX, and that is good. GM's never had any luck with small cars, esp perf ones, and they need to copy for a while until they have established themselves as a real player. I like it. Also, since its pressurized, much more power can be extracted with just a little effort, which is also good.

I would think it would be around the same price as the Ion Redline which is at 21k so I bet it will be around there.
