The interior has a 1960s musclecar-type of feel to it:

I have to agree, the car looks good, but that wing is a little too over the top for me and it's gotta go. Otherwise the Cobalt SS looks to be quite a step up from the old Cavalier Z24 - and that can't be anything but good news.

Actually, it's going to more like 220 horsepower, at the least.

Notice the boost guage mounted to A-pillar:

Looks good. I think it will go over well. I still don't anticpate SRT-4 acceleration numbers, but 6.0-6.5 to 60mph would be respectable in a car like this. Not to mention the interior should be leap years ahead of the Neon.

Looks good, a lot better than the standard Cobalt coupe. I also wish the wing was a little bit tamer, but oh well...
The only thing change I hope they make before production is the gear box. If the car has the same gear ratios as the Ion tested in Sport Compact Car which went through the traps at 96mph in 3rd gear, I will be really disappointed. The gear ratios just need to closer.
To be competitive I think the car should be able to run atleast a 14.5 no sweat. It has the potential, I hope Chevy just does it right.

I'm with pretty much everyone here. I like the car overall. I think the interior looks great, but the wing is a bit much for my taste. Maybe they'll have an optional smaller one, or a delete option for it? I think the Ion Redline looks much better with the optional small wing than the big cheese slicer.
