Cobalt

Well I went to the Race in Michigan this weekend and GM had a display, Well included in the display was a preproduction Cobalt SS. I asked the Rep. if the car would compare in price to the SRT4 and the responce was no, she said that it would sticker in the mid. 20's because it would have more features than the neon. Does that make any sense, I thought they were going after the ricer group with this car and direct competition with the SRT4.

That doesn't make sence, Hopfully she is wrong and it will come in at $19,995. You can get a AWD more powerful WRX or RWD 300HP Mustang GT for mid 20's.

I was thinking the same thing, about the Mustang being in the mid 20's. The Cobalt did have a matching leather interior in it that could be deleted for a lower cost.

Considering that I just saw a nasty 2004 Crapalier coupe priced at $19K, nothing would surprise me.

I'd be surprised if a single Cavalier has been sold in the U.S. for 19,000 in the last 3 years. That may be the sticker, but you could probably take it home for like 12k.

No Cavis go for $19K, you may see that MSRP on a super-highend one but that isn't the real price, if anyone buys one for that price than they are retarded.
