You are correct. Running cookie cutter race cars with stick on decals to denote manufacturer and model just sucks. NASCRAP might as well just do like IROC used to and when the teams get to the race track they sign out the car and race.

 

You guys really need to read up on what NASCAR has plans for next season. The sticker car days are numbered.

 

I've been looking into it a bit. I saw the new Ford, Dodge, and Toyota. Its definitely a step in the right direction.

Cant wait to see the Chevy.

 

The new Impala is getting offically unveiled in New York next week as a 2014 model. Being a 2014 model and not a 2013, does that knock the Impala out?

 

I think the fact that GM themselves said it would not be Impala (nor Malibu for that matter) rules out the Impala.

 

Well, I keep thinking back to the trick Ford played on everyone (law enforcement community) when the Ford Crown Vic ended. They said they were working on a all new police car and its not going to be the Taurus.

 

Some truth to that...

 

Off topic, but that pic is a great example of one reason why I would not want black wheels on my car (new 1LE Camaro has me thinking about this).
