looks like an 04 toyota camry with groundeffects or some crap. I like the rear valance, but the nose is like half toyota half then it has impalla headlights. The design looks too import. I think they should play off of what the 70 chevelle looked like, give it some fastback stylein.
It looks like nothing more than a Malibu coupe.
I got a kick out of the introduction though:
"Beginning in 1964, Chevrolet offered a line of cars with a level of versatility unmatched by any other - a line that ran the range of customer requirements from the economical family sedan to the undisputed 1/4 mile king of the muscle car wars."
The person who wrote this obviously is clueless that Chevelle was part of GM's mid-size line (that every division except Cadillac had) which compeated with Ford's & Chrysler's.... hardly "unmatched versatility", and he also is pretty clueless in thinking that Hemi Chargers & Cudas along with 396 Camaros, 428 Mustangs, and perhaps a half dozen other cars of the era (as well as both modern LS1 and LT1 Camaros) could beat them.
Unimaginative design combined with a ridiculous false view of Chevelle's history (it was a cheap mid-size carline, first & foremost, when compared to it's competitors, not some rip snorting car-line
) puts doesn't quite give the effort alot of credibility.
It DOES give some great ideas on what a Malibu SS sedan should look like when it comes out. But as far as Chevelle ideas, the one that appeared in Hot Rod (?) about 3 years ago is much better.
