$15,000 for 420 carb'd HP??? I'm certain we're all impressed...
How much is an LS6 crate engine? Can't you get a 528ci Hemi crate for 15 G's?
Maybe it's just me, but SEMA has lost some luster the past two years...I just don't see a lot of things that really excite me. That and the fact that production cars are getting more powerful all the time...

The 5.0L EFI "Cammer" crate engine, including the wiring harness kit, will sell for a MSRP of $14,995 and will be available from the 2004 Ford Racing Performance Parts catalog.
...
What's more, harness kits – which include the powertrain control module (PCM) – provide all of the necessary electrical connectors, including end terminals, a fuse box, a power distribution box, as well as switch connectors and fuel pump relays.

well, I guess the question is how much is that wire harness and all for EFI worth? on top of it all I think its pretty cool what Ford has done.. it just seems awefully expensive... does GM have a similar full packaged deal?
