Wrong. We all don't wish that GM came out with a retro 1st Gen or any Gen. Maybe Camaro guys are just deeper that way or have more vision, but I think most of us would rather see a car that had alot of fresh and striking new design with some obvious ties to cars that came before it, they way it basically always did.

As for the 05 not saying it's name on it, it says it right on the fake gas emblem thing on the back panel and if you get the side stripes it says it there too. 3rd Gens really didn't say Camaro on them anywhere either besides the grill on IROC-Z's and on the back bumper of some earlier base SC's. Whether it was done because everyone knows or should know a Camaro is, I don't know. There are people out there that don't know what the 60's M*stangs and Camaros look like BTW, trust me. I've heard quite a few M*stang owners say that they don't like the new car. We'll see I guess.

 

If a CAMARO comes out instead of a Chevelle, In 07 lets say. Should Chevy promote it as the 40th Ann.? Or 36th!
