impala, monte verts?

who here would like to see these in verts?
i'm not so sure of the monte but i'd say the impala would look pretty nice with a vert
i'm guessing there might not be enough of a business case for them, but it sounds nice to me

also, do they make soft top impalas? i saw one the other day and never knew they made them (one of the newer impalas, not the previous gen)

Re: impala, monte verts?

I think a Vert top Monte might make a better case. The Monte is the 2nd best selling coupe out there, and I think that with a vert model, it could seriously put a hurting on the Sebring. Monte SS vert with the 5.3 and rumble of the exhaust at highway speeds...pretty cool to me.
A 4dr vert is gunna be a hard sell.

I think a 4 door vert would be awesome. I think they could sell enough to justify making them, but it would definetly be a niche vechile. Sounds like something Cadillac needs to do, so they can do it right and be justified in charging 80K for one. A retractable hardtop would be cool.

Chevrolet will have a convertible coupe within the next few years.

And I'm not refering to the Corvette or Colbalt, either.

well i was thinking that would be assumed
maybe not the first year the coupe came out, but a year after maybe
i just think an impala sedan vert would look pretty cool, atleast what i'm imagining it looking like in my head
and yea, saw another one of those soft top impalas today (live in the neighborhood) and it looks sharp
gives it a more upscale look if you ask me
