Camaro ad in new Motor Trend?
This has to be good news. Why the hell else would they waste money advertising Camaro if it wasn't coming back soon? It is coming back and it is going to have somewhat of a retro look. I think its obvious now. Time to be happy

Might be a small hint from Chevy.

The good news that I read into the advertisement is that GM might actually plan on bringing back the F-body. The bad news is that GM's marketing is as inept as ever.
Why on earth would you pick the most unattractive angle of the oldest Camaro generation? Let's be honest, outside of enthusiasts, is the rear-end of a '69 Camaro very identifiable? Moreover, what message are they shooting for?
My best guess is that this might be a sign that a F5 Camaro might return as a retro homage to the '60s. I'm glad I bought a F4 when I had the chance.

A few terms that should not be used with a possible Camaro replacement.
1. F-body- If we get a Camaro replacement it wont be on a "F" Chassis
2. F5- See above, we might get a camaro replacement but no more firebird/ta
The Camaro, if it comes back is going to be on a very shared platform. Its going to be gone for a while. I hate to say this but it seems to me that maybe the car that replaces the Camaro should have a different name. I love my Camaro and I know plenty people who do as well. But there are many people that have a bad tase in there mouth from the Camaro name. People think of some guy named Guido driving one. Many people find them low class. Not many former import owners would want a Camaro but they might want the next Camaro if it had a different name. I love my car but many people wont even look at it because of the rep it has wrongly recieved to the general public. I know this post is very Taboo on this site. At this point I just want a RWD V8 2 plus 2 from GM hopefully Chevy. If it happens not to called Camaro then thats fine with me. I'll know what it really is at heart, a Camaro replacement.

If you won a million bucks, on a lottery ticket that you found on the street, you'd probably be saying "Damn government.... taxing all my winnings."
"Worst angle?!?!?" C'mon... gimme a break
If you want to complaion about the ad, at least find something legitimate to complain about!
