How can the Aztek be called ugly and the Nissan Murano good looking?
Because random angular lines are a lot more offending to the eye than sleek, curvy cars. The Murano looks good. The Aztek looks like a guy took a ruler and was like "I can design a car in 20 minutes, you ****ing watch!"
:-D
:-D
AT least Aztek is going away... Murano (sp?) and Element are brand new!
(For the record, I think Element the new king of the uglies, Aztek has been reduced to Court Jester.
Muano can be the suave Sir Lancelot of the ugly world.

I'm wondering where all these "out door adventurer", "gen-Y" types are anyways. Apparently there's a huge market looking for vehicles like this.

Well only until the Toyota "FJ Cruiser" hits the market.

Uh ...because it IS ugly ... and the Murano is simply tastefully different ?
As stated, wheel size and cladding are 2 obvious starting points ... and then instead of getting rid of the cladding ... they paint it ... like a back yard roller job
IMO the Pontiac folks need only go as far as the VIBE to see properly executed cladding.

If you get up close to it, you can even see the nasty 'texture' from the cladding that the paint is sprayed over, to boot.

I like the looks of a lot of Pontiac's 'cladding', like that on the Grand Am GT, etc... but the Aztek is just wrong in so many many different ways... cladding included.

Gremlin!
Mention that word to anyone who has just bought a Murano (and is old enough to remember them) and they will flip out. A business acquaintance was showing his off the other day, and after I mentioned the Gremlin thing, he was wondering if he could take it back.
But I agree. The Element is now King Hideous.
