i know that feeling, but was wet, and hit 2 trees (pics in sig) i miss my car, happened in feb.... the v8 swap should be done next week though... cant wait! have about 12k worth of parts going into the swap... ahhh cant wait

I'm sure it'll be all but perfectly clean by the time it's returned. But, as far as it all goes, like the poster said below your post, it's the test production phase and something definitely went wrong and locked it up. Granted it wasn't the safest of driving habits, but it's supposed to be tested hard... you know someone's going to buy the z06 and do it, atleast this was someone that knew how to drive it and counter steer pretty dang good. The moment the car started back up and we were moving again, he was immediately trying to dissect second by second what was going on with the vehicle and why it all happened. As for shifting into 1st instead of 3rd, I don't think that's too much what it was because I've accidentally done that in my dad's porsche (and granted, only a 4 banger so the results aren't as severe as in a 500hp vehicle) but there was no slow down at all, it more so seemed to just surge in power like crazy. He seemed to drive it pretty good, which is why I kinda doubt he threw it into 1st on accident, but hey anything's possible.. I definitely don't know anything about what happened, I was too consumed with how amazing the acceleration on that car was compared to my v6. lol

 

Just met Red Planet on gratiot today. He and I pulled over to talk for a few and i didnt even pay attention to the fact it was a Z06 untll i noticed the 6 piston calipers and the badge. LMAO im an Idiot. SWEET car to say the least and they fit you very nicely when you sit in it. I cant wait untill they get into full production without a doubt an absoultely sweet car.
