I'm sure I saw one today on the interstate. I was going north and it was going south but I'm sure that's what it was. It was yellow. Sweet car.

 

Pilots and low-volume initial production cars should be out now getting real road miles put on them.

Yea, somebody on another site I visit said they got in 2 a couple of weeks ago, already paid for so yea, they're slowly starting to hit the streets.

 

Not out yet.......no one can actually take delivery yet.....we have a fleet of "Captured Test Fleet" vehicles in the hands of select employees to evaluate.....from top to bottom.......(we do this with all of our cars and trucks at model change..)

It allows EVERY part of the car...individually and collectively....to be inspected to make sure that every thing is as it should be. There are many last minute changes......It could be a part that does not fit right.....or has the wrong 'gloss level' or graining........or it could be engine programming.....or fit and finish......we do it because we want it right from the beginning. Are we perfect? No...... Is any manufacturer perfect? No.....
But we do sweat the details.......and anyone in the auto manufacturing business can attest to this.

No worries RP, I am a firm believer in the SS as top Camaro, and my Camaro criteria are simnple: look sweet (seen WAY too many sweet photochops, drawings, interpretations by non gm people to think that you guys won't get it right), dust mustangs and have a 6 spd, scoop and spoiler and hopefully lucky 7 as an option. Other than that, I am pretty easy going.
