You might consider editing your prior post to reflect that.

I know Lou Giglotti and he's a passionate and dedicated guy. Lou's not inexpensive, but he does offer well engineered and thought out products constructed from good materials.

I run his headers on my '02 Z06 and I'm happy with the parts and the performance. I'm not rich by any means, but I can have anyone's headers that are out there for the LS motor.

I'm connected to World Challenge, among other things, and LG is the choice of the fast Corvettes.

The maggie is a modified version of the Eaton M112.

Likely correct. AFAIK Eaton is the brand under which parts are sold to OEM. Mag is an aftermarket brand for the same company.

Magnuson just makes kits from eaton blowers/head units. Call any performance shop and ask what they think about putting a maggie on a 408 cid plus lsx stoker motor....

here's the ting that worries me about the cam. The Titanium valves. They don't last long when run with very high spring pressures and high RPM.

I believe that they were used on this motor only because it uses a mild hydraulic roller with mild ramps and relatively light spring pressure (354 #/IN) and relatively mild RPM. Normally Ti valves aren't used until 8000RPM and with solid rollers that use much higher spring pressure.

WHen people start throwing big cams and high pressure springs in these motors, they are going to start wearing out valves...
