I like it, not a good color and I still prefer the Solstice.
Relax dude, it's just a car, these are just questions/opinions. If the panties don't come out, try some ex-lax and a plunger.

Somone in the thread said the exact same thing... apparently it's not the real deal it's a concept Sky, costing $250K.

I definitely like that more than the Pontiac, which says a lot because I really like the Solstice in terms of looks. Gotta save final judgement for when I drive one though. Pretty sure if I got one it'd have to be the redline.

So what differences other than looks on the inside and out are there between the Solstice and Sky?

Also, when are they going to come out with a hard top for the sky? I hate soft tops.

If you took that car and took the badges off it could easily pass for a car 2-3 times as expensive in terms of exterior looks. Interior? No way. Ride/handling/power? Very doubtful. But exterior looks, hell yeah!

Most people like things to be symmetrical, so naturally one square-ish exhaust tip on the right side is going to look off balance to many. I doubt most here are going to tell you they think a stock N/A 4 cylinder is going need dual exhaust or even dual outlets, it's just a matter of appearance. I don't really care myself, although it does look a little odd. Doesn't seem like something to get so freaking mad about though.

Re: C&G Sky pics at dealer...

I think it would simplify production for the turbo... and as stated, the aesthetic look is a good reason.

I find it odd that people complain about a sporty dual exhuast being offered as a standard feature, no matter if there is a weight penalty.

Btw, the Boxster has its single exhaust pipe coming out of the car's mid-rear. I reckon the designers would have played around with various looks and came up with a symmetrical solution.

Re: C&G Sky pics at dealer...

The Sky will have a higher base price over the Solstice, but will have more standard content than the base Solstice. As far as specs go, the Sky's 2.4L will be making 170hp instead of the Solstice's 177hp, but the Sky won't require premium fuel like the Solstice does. There may be some other differences in suspension as well, but I'm not too sure.

Wow.

The s2000s have dual tailpipes, and no one seems to complain. I think it looks good, regardless of the fact it only needs one pipe due to one exhaust manifold.

err... anger transfer?

i agree there's NO reason for dual exhausts, BUT the single exhaust should be centered. it's a sports car, it should look sporting.
