In fact, I have. Once a year, right? So not a problem on most days.

Plus, I'd still rather get hit by a whole bunch of bicyclists than a car. Not saying it would be pleasant, just the lesser of two evils.

But my point is, out here, avid cyclists think they own the road and could care less about you hitting them, probably because they have good lawyers. I live in a small city outside of Oakland where cyclists frequent every weekend when its nice out. Its hard to avoid them... and I'm usually a pedestrian walking my dog.

 

Don't even get me started about San Fran bicyclists!
