Very true...

and I'll take it a step further... if the 80-82 Corvette's interior were more modern looking, I'd say that it could pass for a new car today (looks wise) .... while not very fast, the last of the sharks are one of my favorite exterior looks.

1. Thunderbird SC ('89-'93). In dark blue or black, it looked sinister, and was hella fast in it's day.

2. Camaros ('71-73) RS, Z28, SS, they all looked good!

3. Trans Am T/A 6.6 ('77-'79). Yes, that includes the screaming chicken.

4. Dodge Viper (previous edition), cartoonish & over the top, but it works!

5. Plymoth Prowler, the only retro that does it for me.

6. Mustang 5.0 Coupe (1985-93) better represented what the original Mustang was all about than anything before or since.

7. Camaro Z28 (1993-97) Say what you want about the LS1's power, the LT1s simply sounds better. Also, the pre '98s look so mean, people tend to move out the way quickly when I approach from behind. The only other car I owned that did that was the T-Bird.

8. Impala SS ('94-97). It's picture is next to the word 'Badass' in the dictionary.

9. Impala (1962). Simply because Dad had one.

10. CTS. It took ***** to bring out something like that. Thing is, it actually looks really good in person.

I would have to Vote

1995 Corvette ZR1 (black or Blue0
The later C4s have solid clean timeless lines. Add the wider body of the ZR1s and the extra wide tires and you have a Wicked looking car.

I'll do decades:
30's:
34 Ford Coupe

40's:
49 Ford Coupe

50's:
57 Chevy

60's:
63 Corvette Stingray

70's:
70 Plymouth Cuda

80's:
...? Maybe the GNX, or the T/A...but as a whole, 80's cars are ugly. GNX's get me excited when I see them tho, so I'll say that.

90's:
1994 Ford Mustang (Hey, I didn't buy my car because it was the best looking one out)

00's:
the C5. Sure, it could be on the 90's too.

Honorable mentions:
Previous gen Dodge Viper
69 Mustang Mach 1/Fastback
69 Plymouth Roadrunner
70 Plymouth Cuda
69 Dodge Charger
69 Mercury Cougar Eliminator

That's all that comes to mind!

A man with taste! I loved that supercharger whine, and that's about the easiest stickshift car to do a burnout in.

Actually, it took a little effort not to chirp 2nd and 3rd in this car. I'd love to pick up one of my own, if only they weren't so ragged out around here.
