Awesome news. Ive been wanting to see a two door LX pony car fighter from Chrysler since the 300 came out. The more American RWD v8 coupes, the better IMO.

Model years start the January of the previous year.

The 2009 Model year begins January 1st, 2008.



Jadedst, I might not mean what you think I do. Chrysler has let it be known (without officially stating so) that it intends to have a Mustang competitor on the road no later than the 2008 calendar year. GM has been letting it be known that it is "studying" having a Mustang competitor at some point, but it's been up to insiders to let us know the details on enthusiasts sites or through 2nd parties, but not to the general population.

GM is now going to face alot more pressure to be a bit more public on this, a little earlier than planned.

I suspect they will.

This is great news. GM will have another RWD sporty car to study to see if there is a market for a Camaro!
