Am I the only one that finds it funny that, even though they didnt announce ANYTHING AT ALL about this untill mid 2005, Mopar might have their pony car out well before GM?

This is exciting! With the Chevy RWD coupe here in a few years and all the other stuff hitting the market its going to be like the good old days that I hear so much about but missed!

 

Next gen LX based sounds like more of a midsized coupe than ponycar.

 

Just saw that on Autonews.com - sounds VERY interesting.

2009 though? Wow. A lot can change in 3 1/2 years.

 

They better keep the weight, the 4000lbs curb weight found on LX based cars is a major turn off

 

Challenger is the only car with the potential to pull me away from my Camaros. This just adds pressure for Chevy to get it right.

 

It'll be interesting to have another RWD coupe choice!
