you people need to stop reading those car mags. You know half of them are written like 2-3months in advanced right? Plus they really dont know crap about what goes on at GM.

How about we just dont respond to threads like this. Just let them sink to the bottom. If no one puts input in it, then it will just slide...so let this be teh last post in this thread.

Yeah who ever said "Hiatus"? Even their plant was demolished... How many things are needed for you to relize it's not coming back...?

2007? The 2006 model year starts soon. They dont even know about anything yet!

Is it on? Is it off? Who knows? Break out the tarot cards; get some tea leaves. Grab some chicken bones, blood and a bowl. C'mon, someone throw us a real bone. Something.....

Sigh, just venting. These concurrent Camaro on/off threads are really draining.

Yeah they will! If ever there was a serious time for a Mustang competitor, the time is now BUT WHERE IS IT? They simply dont have the resources nor the MONEY to produce such a car without dissapointing us. The GTO was a setback for them because of initial low sales and the fact that EVERYBODY thinks it has BLAND styling, which it does...Keep with your hopes and dreams, No one is teasing you about a Camaro, GM is not mentioning ****! Doesnt that give you a clue? Do you honestly think the 2007 or 2008 Camaro is being built in Area 51 where nothing and nobody is allowed to talk about it?!? The only thing keeping Camaros alive are forums like these. What about Chrysler, They have like 5 Hemi RWD V8's in their lineup. Biggest American Muscle award goes to them..GM just does not have it anymore...

After thinking to myself "why the hell are we still seeing threads like this"? Your username "V8 Slayer" says enough as it is. Move along.

The threads in this forum have a rebuttal and a reason why things are the way the are, for all of the content in every single one of your posts.

Read....the goddamn forum

..................that would be me.

I helped write the press release.

I sent the press release out to this site -- and to the various Camaro and Firebird Enthusiast clubs and sites..... just as the release was about to be sent to the media at large. Believe me, it was a tough day...and one of the hardest things I've had to do in nearly 30 years with General Motors.

It's painfully apparent to me that you either are relatively new to this board.....or did not pay attention over the past couple of years.........or...well, I won't belabor that point.........

So.......if you go back a few years, there were those on this forum (and others) that slammed GM because GM was 'too stupid' to bring the Monaro over to this country. Well, guess what? GM brought the Monaro over to this country...with well over 200 engineering improvements.....and you say that we blew it? And by the way......if GM's lost it so bad, perhaps you can enlighten us as to how the new Z06 was developed......

Oooooo Plleeaasseee....... Enough with the teasing. I assume your the rogue employee that knows about all the secret plans!

It was in my opinion, GM lost it..The GTO is dreadful to me.

What exactly are you trying to convince me off? Everything you wrote didnt make sense to me? Are you FOR a new Camaro? You never actully state your thoughts and information.. What press release? Explain yourself.....
