I just saw a Pontiac commercial that showcased the G6 coupe and Sedan as well as the Solstice. I was wondering if any else saw it?

I basically caught the middle of it, and it definitely wasn't the same typical GM ho hum ads that we've all seen. It had a bit more edge to it, I don't know, if it's tough to explain. Just wanted to know if anyone else saw it and what they think of it?

Pontiac has really nailed their advertising this time around. The Solstice commercial (by itself) surely hit its mark. I guess when you have good, solid product to back up your ads, you get good, solid ads to back up your product.

 

But much like the marketing blitz for the G6, is it too early??? Oprah fans ran out to find empty lots at their Pontiac dealers, and they will do the same with the Solstice.

On an aside, man did the that car look hot on Apprentice! It would win Miss Congeniality at any car pageant

 

GMs commercial's have gotten pretty good all around... The Buick ones are nice, pontiac coming along... the Cadillac under 5 ones are good, but the breakthrough ones are getting kinda old...

 

The comercial was great It was modern but not in the "check this fly ride yo!" way if there is one but i loved the use of color and the music used really caught my attention and interest but where was the GTO? And i agree the solstice was beautiful there in black with the red highlights and the emphasis on the grill was great looking......[by the way i am a industrial design major and i have to talk artsy fartsy]

 

Yeah, I keep seeing the G6/Solstice one, and then the shorter G6 one. You can see them on Pontiac's website.
Deffinatly NOT a GM type commercial. Didnt Marketing just get a new guy?

 

I for one don't think the Solstice commercials are to early. GM is only building 20K of them and so they will be sought after. By timing the commercial and Apprentice appearance to the pre order time it will build excitement for the product. I know I will go drool over one at the dealership, unfortuantely I cannot afford one at this particular time .
