Okay, I read that there is no shortbed, but how about a Trailblazer or Tahoe. Much appreciations.

My wife's Honda Passport is starting to give me trouble, and I will need to replace it soon. Does anyone have any inkling if Chevy will produce the Tahoe of Trailblazer SS? I would love to be driving a GM product again, and can't justify spending 40K plus for a Denali. If not, I will probably get a FX35 Infinity. I hope GM hears our pleas.

the Tahoe SS won't be made anytime soon unless parts fromt eh upcoming police version are used in a RWD model. the current Tahoe SS concept is pretty much a Chevy verysion of the Denali and would defintiely be priced well over $40k.

If they don't make the trailblazer SS you could always go with the Buick Rainier, it will have a 290-hp 5.3L V8 option

True, but the Rainier is the only version of the the GMT350 (i think thats the right designation code.) to get the V8 in the short wheel base version.

Anyone know if it will be available with anything other than the Bravada's Almost on Demand AWD system?

BTW it's GMT360 platform.
